We
know that producing precision parts requires
strict quality control. With that in mind,
DMW developed the Quality Inspection Program,
which requires careful inspection at every
stage of the machining process.
1.
Materials inspection —
when a shipment arrives at our facility,
we make sure the contents meet our standards
before we accept the shipment.
2.
First article inspection
— once the machinists set up equipment
for your order, before production begins,
we produce a single article to verify that
it meets specifications.
3.
In-process inspection —
during production, a machinist carefully
monitors the equipment and controls and
checks products periodically to make sure
they are consistent and correct.
4.
Pre-delivery inspection
— before items are delivered to the
customer, we test products for quality and
adherence to specs. Completion of the extensive
DMW Mechanical Inspection Report is part
of this final inspection.
